One of the other topics I am very passionate about is integrative care.  Combining traditional care and holistic care is the most effective way for people to heal and treat the whole person.  So continue with your medical team, but also include wellness, relaxation, mind, body, thoughts, emotions, and spirituality.  We all need different ways and to be able to work together to create what works best for each individual.  If you believe in it that makes a huge difference also!  All the research supports that this is the most human and effective way of not alone healing but preventing be integrative wellness.

Ready to Feel Better? Learn These Easy Stress Management and Relaxation Tips

The first step in feeling better for everyone I think is learning basic stress management and relaxing.  Some ways to do this is to slow down, do one thing at a time, be in the present, and learn relaxation skills of slow deep breathing, visualization techniques (visualize focus on what you want and what it looks and feels like, and relax your body with progressive muscle relaxation going from head to toe tightening up muscle groups then breath in to each area and breath out the tension.  After establishing these basic skills you can increase to meditation and other forms of deeper relaxation.
